HARRIS, ESQ., Aug. 16, 2010. Husband of Rosalyn (nee Rutenberg), father of Michelle O'Toole (James) and David Ominsky (Dr. Catherine Moses), brother of Robert Ominsky (Marsha), Mark Ominsky (Donna) and Frances Markowitz (Martin), brother-in-law of Dr. Harold Rutenberg (Patrice), grandfather of Daniel and Natalie O'Toole, Ben, Max and Olivia Ominsky. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010, 12 Noon precisely at Beth David Reformed Congregation, 1130 Vaughans Ln., Gladwyne, PA 19035. Int. Roosevelt Memorial Park. Shiva will be observed at the late residence. Friends wishing to contribute to the Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Penn. Development Office, 3535 Market St., Phila. PA; Singing City, 123 Sansom St., Phila. PA

I am so sorry to learn of Harris' passing. He was a remarkable man. In Chautauqua we were privileged to have him part of the Short Story Group, which he thoroughly enjoyed and we so enjoyed him. My sincere condolences to Rosalyn and the family.

What an absolute shock to hear about the passing of my very dear cousin. He and his wife Rosalyn were absolute angels in helping with my mom and myself when my moms only brother Harold Gottlieb pssed away and we were so thankful to see him just earlier this year at the funeral of our cousin Manny Sloane.
We are heartbroken and wish our heartfelt condolences to Rosalyn and his family.

What more can one possibly say about a human being who led an exemplary life with a most devoted and loving wife and who was a model of perfection as a man, husband, father, friend and colleague.
This beautiful sweet and gentle person will be sadly missed by Harris and Pepper.
