Miss you mom and dad, more than you can imagine. I pray your souls are happy together and watching over your children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. I sure wish you were still here, I have so much more to say to you, to tell you that I love you just one more time. Thanksgiving is coming up and it's just not the same since you both have been gone. Please keep us in your prayers up in heaven and we will keep you in our prayers down here on earth. Love you both and thanks again for being the best parents and giving so much of yourselves each and every day.

Merry Christmas Mom and Dad 2011. Please watch over us, We celebrate the holidays in your memory...You are always in our hearts and on our minds. Thank You.

July 19, 2011

Hi Mom and Dad, It's just us again, wondering how you both are doing. We miss you today as much as we did the day you both left us. I am sitting here thinking about how lucky we were to have you two as parents, I don't think there are many people who even came close to the happiness we shared as a family, and we have you both to thank. You taught us the important things in life, like being there for each other, to treat people like we want to be treated and to always lend a helping hand and keep a smile on your face. Sometimes it's hard but we had a good example to show us how it's done. Well, I hope you two are happy and looking over us. We will never forget you guys!
Love ya,
Your lucky 7

Hi Mom and Dad, Well, again, it's Thanksgiving time and we miss you guys more than ever. Mom, it's been six years since you left us, I will never forget that rainy day, we all felt so empty and sad. We hope that you and Dad are up in heaven now watching over us all and keeping us in your prayers. We are putting Donna in charge of the stuffing again this year, so pretty soon she will be up to her elbows in stuffing, just like you used to say. They were such good times. We want to thank you and dad for all the good memories that you gave us and hopefully, we can pass these on to our children. We miss you and love you very much. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Dad - Your namesake grandson still talks about you and prays for you every night. Today he asked me if you were still a plumber up in heaven. Whatever you're doing... we do know you're still our father.

See you at Mass Dad.

Hey Mom, it's hard to believe that it will be 4 years since you left us here on earth. We think about you every day and miss you more than you will ever know. It's around the time when you would usually be "up to your elbows" in stuffing. haahaa We will have another Thanksgiving without you and dad, but , hopefully we will all be together and we will feel your presence with us . Please watch over us all and keep us healthy and happy and close to you and dad. We love you both! PS... don't forget to wish Donna a Happy "60th" Birthday!

Hey Mom and Dad, just that time again that we thinking of you both and wondering how you both are doing. As usual we miss you very much and wish you were still here with us. Sometimes it's really hard to believe that you are gone. Everything with us is ok, but we could use a few prayers here and there. Thanks again for being the best parents any seven kids could ask for.

Famous Dad sayings:

After finishing a task: "It don't take me long to do nuthin'"

Wordless quote: "Alls he said was he shook his head."

To a mischievous kid watching him work: "Don't mess with the messer!"

To a backtalking kid: "The next thing you know you won't know nuthin'"

At the Thanksgiving table: "Many a poor man would make a meal out of this."

On vacation, having a beer: "I wonder what the poor people are doing today?"

After work, having a beer: "God bless the man who made this!"

After asking to see my toy gun as a kid: "BANG! Let that be a lesson. Don't ever let anybody hold your gun."

With three snot nosed little boys asking to be picked up and carried after he got home from a hot day on the job: "I can't pick you up, I got nails in my fingers!" (Then he'd pick us up.)

His favorite advice (after "Go to mass!"): "Better to light a candle than to curse the darkness."

Anybody got any more?

Dad - As our father, you did it all - first aid, ball games, museum trips, teacher conferences, airport runs, driving lessons, road trips, shore vacations (whether we could afford them or not), holidays together (no matter what!) - but most of all, you prayed for us faithfully every day of our lives and remembered us all at every mass (daily in your retirement!). Now that you are with the Lord your prayers for all of us are non-stop and more powerful than ever. Pray for us that we all draw from that same well for each other and for your grandchildren and great-grandchildren. And thanks, Dad, for the memories.

Missing you every day,

Hi Dad, Well it is Thanksgiving and you and Mom are celebrating together, which is a good thing, but we are certainly going to miss you guys at the dinner table. Who will carve the Turkey? You always made it look so easy. For the first time ever we are sitting down without a parent on Thanksgiving, but we know you both will be watching down on us. We miss you both very much and love you and thank you for being the best parents ever. Love, your seven

Dear Jimmy and Family:

Knowing and being a part of the lives of your parents and family was one of the greatest times in my life. Your Dad will be missed by myself, Briana and all of the Fecker family but take comfort in knowing that he is back at your Mom's side (and I am sure she is glad of that).

May God bless you all and know that we have all of you in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.
