Helen Travaglini Obituary

TRAVAGLINI
HELEN JOSEPHINE (Varga). Born on Feb. 8, 1916 in Phila., died on March 6, 2006 in Silver Spring MD. Born and raised in Philadelphia. She graduated from Olney High School in 1933. She was married to the late Edmund A. Travaglini, DDS (also a Phila. native.). Survived by her 3 children, Mark (Dana) Travaglini (Annapolis MD), Carla (Les) Holt and Robert Travaglini (all Silver Spring MD). She also has 4 grandchildren, all living in Maryland, Jackie (Patryk) Cholewczynski, Sam Travaglini, Chrissy and Annie Holt; sister of the late Andrew Varga, Catherine McClain and Elizabeth Varga. Interment will be on Thursday, March 9th, 1 P.M. at Holy Sepulchre Cem., Cheltenham, (Phila.) PA. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Edmund and Helen Travaglini Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Vice President for Advancement, Northland College, Ashland WI 54806.

Aunt Helen was a very cheerful, intelligent kind woman. She was always a gracious guest and always had kind things to say about everyone. At least she is in a better place now, with her husband, sisters, and parents. God Bless Aunt Helen.
