So many memories of my beloved uncle! Randomly, I remember our families meeting for picnics in Caledonia and Gettysburg. I remember Uncle Herbie & Aunt Adele sleeping in our living room downstairs in our house in Baltimore and I remember once, when I broke my toe, Uncle Herb placed it in a "Sears Splint." I never saw Uncle Herb get angry - he always had such a broad, warm smile and always spoke so tenderly. There were always too many miles between us but that did not hinder the love. I am sorry I can not be with my family at this time but please know that I love you and am thinking of you with my deepest condolences.
