HERSHMAN
HERMAN S., 88, died suddenly at home on Thursday, Novem-ber 14, 2013. Herman grew up in Logan and graduated with the 179th class of Central High School. He was a Corporal Technician 5th Grade in World War II, earning a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart after landing with the First Division on Omaha Beach on D-Day. Herman graduated from Temple University on the G.I. Bill. He served as Vice President of Harry Fischer, a division of After Six and as a buyer for PBM, men's clothing manufacturers in Philadelphia. Herman was a member of Mensa, B'nai Brith and Beth Sholom Congregation. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Rhoda (nee Blumenthal), and by sons Joseph (Eileen) and Daniel (Julie), and 7 grand-children. Funeral Services Sunday 11:30 A.M. precisely at GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS SUBURBAN NORTH, 310 Second St. Pike, Southampton. Interment at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Shiva at the late residence.
