HOWARD RENZI Obituary

RENZI HOWARD RUSSELL February 23, 1945-July 30, 2025 Howard "Howie" Renzi, 80, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was a beloved and loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. Born in New Haven, Connecticut, he was a proud graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and served aboard the USS Daniel Webster (SSBN 626 Blue) during the Vietnam era. After earning his MBA from Columbia, he became a CPA and later a financial planner, founding Capital Planning Associates of the Greater Delaware Valley in Collingswood, NJ. Howie spent most of his adult life with his devoted wife Gennie in the Philadelphia suburbs of Wyncote and Glenside, PA. He moved to Seabury Skilled Nursing in Bloomfield, Connecticut in his final chapter to be near his grandchildren. Howie will be remembered for his integrity, wit, devotion to family and enduring optimism-especially in the face of Parkinson's Disease and Dementia with Lewy Bodies. He was predeceased by his brother Roger and parents George and Kathlyn Alberta Renzi. He is survived by his wife, Genevieve "Gennie" Renzi; brother Bobby; children Michael, Melissa (Bob) and Lauren; and grandchildren Patrick (12), Eva (8) and Michael (8). Viewing and Funeral will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Bloomfield, CT on Tuesday, August 5th. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. Service details, full obituary and tribute may be found at the website of the MOLLOY FUNERAL HOME in Bloomfield, CT.
