McMANUS
JAMES PATRICK "IRISH", age 77, of Villas, NJ, Sept. 4, 2009 at the Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Phila., he was a 30 year resident of Cape May County. James was a 20 year veteran of the Phila. Police Dept., and worked in security for the Harrah's Marina Casino for 10 years. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Raymond's Church, the Villas Fishing Club, and the Villas Elks Club. James is survived by his wife of 42 years, Margaret (nee Payne), his son Tom (Theresa) Malatesta of Phila., his daughter Peggy Malatesta (Tom Queroli) of Phila., 2 granddaughters Jennifer Johnson (EJ) and Amanda Malatesta, and a great grand-daughter Alex Johnson. He is also survived by a sister Mary (Anthony) Saraceni of Glenolden, PA, and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Sat., Sept. 12th at 11 A.M. at St. Raymond's Church in Villas. A Viewing will be held at the EVOY FUNERAL HOME, 3218 Bayshore Rd., N. Cape May, N.J. Fri., Sept. 11th from 7-9 P.M. and Sat., Sept. 12th from 9:30-10:30 A.M. Int. Cape May Co. Veterans Cem. following service. Donations can be made to the St. Raymond's Memorial Fund.
