JANET RYAN Obituary
Born July 5, 1954 in Doylestown, she was a daughter of Ruth and Edwin Emig. Janet graduated from Lankenau School of Nursing in 1975 and subsequently earned her B.S. in Nursing from Eastern University. Janet dedicated her career to helping others at Lankenau Hospital, as staff nurse and later as Manager of the Case Management Department. Family and friends will always remember Janet for her colorful storytelling and unique sense of humor.
In addition to her husband and sons, Janet leaves 2 sisters, Nancy Heaney of Lansdale and Susan Shipley of Indianapolis and a brother Thomas Emig of Minneapolis and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Janet's life will be held on Saturday August 22nd from 12 – 2 P.M. at the Edgewood Café, 1304 Edgewood Rd, Havertown, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CurePSP, 30 E. Padonia Rd., Suite 201, Timonium, MD 21093, to further research, support and awareness of atypical Parkinsonian disorders.

Janet hired me as the Administrative Assistant in the Case Management Department at Lankenau, she will be missed and the entire Lankenau Care Management Department is praying and sending out condolences to her family.
