JAY A., July 5, 2014, age 44. Beloved husband of Christine A. (nee Pekala); devoted father of Victoria L., Krista M. and Christopher J.; son of James and the late Barbara Wass; brother of James, Joyce Hogan (Vince), Janet Redder (Michael), Joel (Angela) and the late Jeffrey; son-in-law of Barbara and Edward Pekala; brother-in- law of Michelle Giancaterino (Ernie); also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call Friday eve, 6 to 8 P.M., VISCONTO FUNERAL HOME, 2031 Vista Street (Vista & Large Sts.), (ample parking and handi-cap accessibility in rear of building), followed by Memorial Service at 8 P.M. Int. private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Jay's Children's Education Fund, c/o Citizen's Bank, 195 Franklin Mills Blvd., Phila. PA 19154, would be appreciated.

To the entire Wass Family I was like most friends of Jay's shocked & saddened upon hearing of his passing, but knowing Jay I Know he is looking down smiling,with his big grin letting you know he is now one of Gods chosen with his brother Jeff to look after you that were left behind, So when your feeling sad give a wink & a little prayer knowing that Jeff & Jay are always there.
