Jean Ann Yarnall

Yarnall Jean Ann Of Bryn Mawr, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025 at the age of 91. Born in Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Mary (Baxter) Scullion. Jean's greatest devotion was to her family which included her son Charlton (Marylou) of Swansboro NC and her daughter Mary Elise of Bryn Mawr. She is also survived by her treasured grandchildren Anna Yarnall Edkins (Nathaniel); Samatha Keenan Peirce (Geoff), John Keenan (Val), Alexander Keenan (Brooke), Alexander and Tyler Yarnall and 7 great grandchildren. Jean was predeceased by her husband Charlton II, daughter Letitia Keenan, son Alexander and granddaughter Leighton Yarnall Adduce and by her sisters Katherine Nicholson, Rose Dennis and Margaret Brown. Jean graduated from Radnor High School in 1952 and was part of the famous undefeated basketball and field hockey teams. She was employed at Merrill Lynch Real Estate (Berkshire Hathaway) and became a very successful realtor on the Main Line. Jean also owned Chelsea House, an antique shop located at the Haverford Train Station. Jean was very active in golf, squash and tennis at Gulph Mills Golf Club and Merion Cricket Club, participating in their club teams. She was the Committee Chairperson for the Academy of Music Program. She had a great love for gardens, playing bridge, cooking and her Wednesday Wizards group. Jean enjoyed going up every Summer to Northeast Harbor, Maine. The Family will be having a private Interment at Laurel Hill Cemetery through CHADWICK & MCKINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 30 E. Athens Ave., Ardmore, PA 19003, with a future Memorial Service to be scheduled in 2026.
