JEFFREY BRODE Obituary
JEFFREY R., of Blue Bell, PA on June 1, 2013. Beloved husband of Eileen Brode (nee Reinhard). Loving father of Jeffrey E. (Nicole) and Elizabeth Harris (Henry). Dearly loved grandfather of Madeline, Charles, Penelope, Jeffrey and Charlotte. After graduating from Villanova University in 1967, he married his wife in 1968 and took over his father's real estate company, J.R Brode Realty. He worked in real estate and development in the Upper Montgomery County area until retiring in 2011. He and his wife enjoyed playing golf, spending time at their home in Florida and being with their children, spouses and grand-children. Family and friends are invited to a funeral service on Wednesday, June 5 at 11:30 am at St. Thomas' Church Whitemarsh, 610 Church Road, Fort Washington, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Eileen Brode Fund for Cancer Research and Patient Care ("Eileen Brode Fund," Abramson Cancer Center PENN Medicine Development Office, 3535 Market Street, Suite 750, Philadelphia, PA 19104) or St. Thomas' Memorial Fund (PO Box 247 Fort Washington, PA 19034).

Jeff qas a prince of a man. The most ethical person I have ever had the privilege to know. Always looking to have lunch. I'm sorry we never had that next lunch out. I will always Jeff. You don't get a chance to meet many guys like him. The last thing I said to him on the phone before we hung up was, " you're the last of the good guys, jeff brode". It was true. I miss him

I've sadly just learned of Jeff's passing. Although it's been many years since I worked at the Pennsburg office, I fondly remember the smiling, tall gentle giant, who ruled the Upper Perkiomen Valley. I have no doubt he's still smiling....sitting on a rainbow watching over his family, while subdividing big puffy clouds in heaven.
My condolences to the family he so loved.
