As young lawyers, Jeff and I were colleagues in the DA´s Office. Jeff was an excellent lawyer-prosecutor
- - smart, effective, unflappable and modest. I never had the privilege of appearing before him during his many years as a Judge, however those same qualities and character would have made him an outstanding Judge, which was his reputation. With his passing, the Philadelphia legal community and judiciary have lost a long time stalwart.
My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
