Jeff was a great friend and like an older brother to me who I met by being on the opposite side of a bunch of cases. He acted like the way i thought we all would and should act in this profession. He´s the guy I think of as having the kind heart and cool demeanor with zero ego - I aspire to be like that and like Jeff every day. I´m glad I stayed in touch with him recently, and even exchanged texts with him about my daughter´s accomplishments just last week. From how he let me "dad brag"with him all the time and how he expressed interest in it, I could tell he was proud of his daughters and grandchildren. I was very fortunate to have met Jeff and to have created a strong bond with him since my days as a young lawyer. All my love to his family.
