JOAN FUESS Obituary
Joan was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 30 years, Scott MacNeill Fuess and her brother, Charles J. Bracken, Jr. She is survived by her son, Colin Fuess, Jane Alleger, Scott Fuess, Jr; 2 grandchildren, Lindsay Lafferty and Harry Fuess; and one great grandchild, Keira Lafferty.
The family appreciates the care and support from the family and friends, Dr Joseph Evers and staff at Virginia Cancer Ins. and the staff at St. Mary's Hospital.

Believe it or not I went to high school with Joan (Ancilla). Joan was a fun person when I knew her during the four years of HS. I recently found Joan and we were on FB together. Today was such a sad day for me to find out about Joan. Please know your mom was the greatest teen. She was always a lady and always ready to have fun. Nancy.

Colin, we just returned to town and heard the news about your mother. I'm so sorry we were not here to see you and talk to you during the visitation and funeral. We will miss your Mom tremendously, even though we didn't see her often. Both your parents were such marvelous people to spend time with.

Dear Colin, Again, please accept our deepest sympathy in the loss of your mother. She was such a special person. She loved to laugh and I can always picture her leaning forward in conversations anticipating fun and laughter. We will miss her so much as we miss your father. They were wonderful friends.
