JOAN GARNER Obituary
JOAN APPEL CARROLL. of Beaumont at Bryn Mawr, died peacefully surrounded by family, on March 6, 2012. Wife of the late John C. Garner and mother of Marjorie Carroll, Barbara Christofilis, Debra C. Koval (Charles) and Michael Wilson (Chandra); also survived by 3 grandchildren; her sister, Katherine Muskat and cousin, Holly Silverthorne. The family wishes to thank Nelly Carney and family for all their care.
Her Memorial Service will be held on Sat., May 12th, 10 A.M., in Main Line Unitarian Church, 816 S. Valley Forge Rd., Devon PA 19333. Memorial contribu-tions may be made to Main Line Art Center, Haverford PA.

Dear family of Joan,
I woke this morning and my first thought was wonder where joan Appel is now.I was sadden to find out she had passed. I found out when I put her name in my computer. I had hoped to find her and visit if possible.We had many great times together before she left Caley. She was an absolutely wonderful and really "cool" person.I'm glad she was able to live a relatively long and meaningful life! I am an artist and she was a mentor to me when we taught together and partied together too.She is missed.
