John you were a great man with an even great heart a good . I will miss your warm smile and kind face. I know you have a lot of friends in heaven and there will never be a dull moment there now. Say hello to Erica and Sid for me.

March 26, 2006

Yes once again I will say goodbye. A smiling giant of a man who's personality was bigger than him and his generosity was even bigger. No one knew of the countless sandwiches and money and your friendship giving unselfishingly you gave to the poor and also to many others. What a fine man, what a gregerous man, with that great smile, never frowning and then you had to get that disease that didn't fit you as you knew all and smiled at everyone never to forget and then not recognize all who loved you. My heart is heavy when I say those words. To me I wish you had gone to the Lord in a different fashion my dear friend. But the important thing is we knew you and always loved you and in the end that is all that matters. God Bless you and all concerned and may your smile and friendship always remain part of our lives as I know and can tell you and all it will remain with me.

Take care my friend I know you are besides the dear Lord.

My friend I know your great and delicious roast beef sandwiches will always be. But most important is that I have lost a very dear friend whom I enjoyed many a day and night at Garden state racetrack with our dearly departed Dominick Rizzo. Hopefully you two will enjoy racing in heaven with the greatest thorobreds and arguing that you had given each other a loser when they had the winning horse. We had so much fun just laughing and laughing. I will miss those glorious times with the both of you and at this moment I am sad but perhaps you chose to go with Jesus. That is the way I will look at it to ease my emotions. God Bless you and your family my dear friend John.
