JOHN LYNCH Obituary
LYNCHJOHN B., "JACK" on August 14,
2013 of Roxborough, he was 86 yrs. old. Jack was a retired Phila. Police Officer, a member of F.O.P. Lodge #5 and U.S. Army Veteran serving during WWII. Husband of the late Eleanor (nee Mayer) Lynch. Father of John C. (Jody) Lynch and Nancy (Greg) Rowbottom. Grandfather of Gregory A. Rowbottom, Jacquelyn Lynch, Donna Bregenzer, Jo-Ann Psoras, John Lynch and Nancy Babcock. Great grandfather of 6. Brother of Theresa, Betty, Trudy, James and the late Thomas and survived nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing in Church Tuesday after 9:00 A.M.
followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30 A.M., at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 819 Cathedral Rd. (off Ridge Ave.) Phila., PA 19128. Donations are requested in Jack's name to Our Mother of Consolation School, 17 E. Chestnut Hill Ave., Phila., PA 19118.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. The members of our CopNET family would like to thank John B. Lyncy for his dedication and service to the citizens of Philadelphia. The passing of Jack will be broadcast to our 3,423 members shortly and we would like to extend our sincere condolences to his family. His absence from our ranks will be deeply missed by the remaining members of Philadelphia's Finest who were fortunate to have served with him during his police career. He will continue in our thoughts and prayers during our remaining days. "Until we meet again, may God Hold you in the palm of his hand. " . . .

I always enjoyed visiting my mom ,Jack n the puppys. Jack always had an interesting Police storie to tell us. He enjoyed explaining how life was back in the day. He enjoyed his friends n family who stopped by for visits. You will be missed.
