John "Obie" O'Brien

O'Brien John E. "Obie" Passed away peacefully on September 21, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Born July 10, 1937 to the late John J. and Jennie (nee Zerbenski) O'Brien, John was the beloved husband of Mary (nee Shiner); loving father of Jill Lehman (Brett), Jackie Gress (David), and Jennifer Celano (John); cherished grandfather of Sean Lehman (Alexandra), the late Cody Lehman, Abigail Lehman, Benjamin Gress, and Molly Gress; caring great-grandfather of Cal Lehman; and dear brother of James O'Brien (Betty), and Joyce O'Brien (Edward Lawlor). Obie was a lifelong jazz enthusiast, a dedicated Phillies fan, and baked the best cakes. Obie loved you all, madly! Relatives and friends are invited to John's Life Celebration on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 from 9:45 to 10:45 A.M., followed by his Memorial Mass at 11 A.M. at St. Joseph Church, 16 S. Spring Garden St., Ambler, PA 19002. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
