JOHN HARVEY, JR., age 71, May 1, 2012, of Bryn Mawr PA and Hobe Sound FL. Survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Reilly Brubaker (Michael); son, John Harvey Reilly, III. (Gillian); 4 granddaughters; and his sisters, Mary Dugery and Patricia Reilly. Funeral Mass Wednesday, May 9th, 10 A.M., at St. Katharine of Siena Church, Lancaster & Aberdeen Aves., Wayne PA. Interment West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family at St. Katharine of Siena Church on Tuesday, May 8th, from 4 to 8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's name to National Jewish Health, 1400 Jackson Street, A551 Denver CO 80206, Attention: Gregory Cosgrove MD / The JHR Research Fund.

a quality man. a beautiful wife, a fantastic family plus a fellow retreator at Malvern, a person who was the true definition of a friend. I enjoyed many a weekend at his parent's home in Ocean City. may he being resting in peace in heaven with his parents.

We just learned the sad news yesterday , January 29, 2013 and it was quite a shock to both of us. Cristina and I have wonderful memories of our visits with your Dad, and brother ( Mary) and the many hours spent on his love, Sindbad. He left too soon..

John was a most significant man, truly a Rennaisance person. He was fascinated with everything which gave him such charisma. A great thinker..I could call him any time with the silliest problem and he was a great listener and always had a thoughtful and sincere reply. I was so fortunate to have him in my life and will miss him. The world is a lesser place with the loss of John.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of John. My condolences to his family.
John was the owner of the company, but he meant more than that to me. He was someone that I looked up to and respected. He was always fair and considerate, very down to earth and always treated me well. There wasn't anything I wouldn't do for him.
For me, knowing he is no longer here will change United, as a whole, completely. He was the heart of the company and I will surely miss him.

It has become very obvious over the past few days how many lives John has touched. He was given a wonderful tribute today. I will miss flying with him and I'm honored to have been given the chance not only to work for him, but to get to know him on a personal level as well. What a great man!

I met John over 43 years ago when I first started working at United. Over the years John and his family employed many of the Graham Family, some who still work there today. He was a kind and generous soul would cared about his employees and treated them with respect. No wonder so many became friends of his. He will be greatly missed.
