JOSE "JOE" "PINO", age 55 on Feb. 16, 2012. Beloved husband of Marta (nee Ruggiero), dear father of Mario (Leah) and Daniel, loving grandfather of Massimo and Gia, dear son-in-law of Carmela Ruggiero and brother-in-law of Mario (Fabiana) Ruggiero, dear uncle of Natalia and Stephan. Dear godfather of Christian. Rela-tives and friends are invited to call Thurs. Eve. 6 to 8 P.M. and to the Funeral Friday 9 A.M. GALZERANO FUNERAL HOME, 9304 OLD Bustleton Ave. (below Welsh Rd.). Dear Grecos:
Though its been 3 years since Joe's passing, our remembrances of him won't ever diminish.
Joe was one of a kind. Honest, caring, funny, generous, highly respected and well regarded by all who knew him. If more people were like Joe, earth would be a much better place.

Greco Family:
As the anniversary of Pino's passing approaches, I just wanted to let you know how much he is still missed. There are times when I recall special moments that we shared whether it was finding an Argentine restaurant after a TKD Tournament when Danny was still competing in Tkd or the simple gesture of the Pan Dulce and collectible car he would bring Marcelito over the holidays when he was little. I will never forget the sincerity, kindness and sense of humor that Pino shared with me. I considered him a great friend and will always be grateful for having him in my life. A truly, truly wonderful person that taught me patience, humility and the appreciation of life.
Although his passing was well before its time and still difficult to understand, please be assured that Pino will always live fondly in our hearts and memories.

Greco Family, we never met but I wanted to tell you about my experiences with Joe. He helped me many times with plumbing and heating problems. You should be proud of Joe since he was one of the most decent men I've ever met. He was always honest with me when telling exactly what needed to be fixed. Once, another HVAC repairman told me to replace our Air Conditioner to the tune of $7,000. Joe came in the next day and replaced a fuse for less than $100. People like that are difficult to find today. I will remember him as a kind, humorous, hard working and gentle man. My prayers go out to his family. It was a great honor to know him.

Your Jewish jokes to your obsession with fiats and ferrari's, you always put a smile on my face. I'll never forget the times where you would sit down, put a wierd tv show on, raise the volume all the way, an then get up and walk away. Danny would get so mad but I could never stop laughing. I knew Joe since the late 80's. Immediately, I saw his work dedication, sincerity towards others and his always optomistic attitude. If we had a difficult situation to overcome, his reply would be "No Problem". He would always find a solution for any situation. As time went on, I had the privilege of knowing his charming wife and great kids. Joe was not only a great business leader but a dedicated caring and loving father and husband.
Joe always gave his own personal time to help others no matter what. We would talk at least one a month catching up. I will so miss those calls.
I am very blessed to have had the friendship of Joe and I will miss him very much. God bless you Joe!

Dear Marta, Mario and Danny,
Joe was truly one of the most sincere, honest and genuine persons we have known. We are so very honor to have called him our friend and neighbor. Marta, I can remember the good times we had as neighbors, when we had picnics with all the neighbors out in your yard and the great block parties. I can also remember the many Thursday nights you and I would watch Knots landing, while Joe was attending school to get his degree in heating and refrigeration. He was such a hard working guy and really loved his family. Joe was a one-of-kind and he was so very proud of his family. Every time he came to our house and we just saw him 3 weeks ago, he was showing me pictures of the family and was so very proud of all of you. We are praying that our Lord will give you and the family the strength to get through this very sad and difficult time. Know that you guys are all loved and Joe was truly a class act and wonderful husband and father. God Bless you all.

Joe Greco was one of the most honest, giving, caring, funny and hard working persons I've ever met.....people like Joe are a rarity these days. I'm honored to have been his friend for 28 years and to have shared in so many great times with Joe and the Greco Family.
He will be sadly missed by the Dowling Family, especially Helen L, who saw and talked with him almost every morning.

Pino, Two weeks ago you came over to fix the hot water heater and we talked and laughed. In this world where people are taken advantage of, you were so honest and did so many favors for us. For years you would always say why don't you get a door bell. I know you can hear me Pino.. Today (Wed - 2-22-l2 at 6:00AM Andy went to your favorite place Lowes and bought a door bell. We will always think of you when the bell rings. We have named it Pino's door bell. When you reach heaven there will be a door bell and the gates will open for you.

Dear Family of Joe Greco:

I've known Pino for many years ... loved talking about Argentina and Isernia with him. When he returned from Florida recently, he spoke of how much fun he had. I will miss him. Save a seat for me "up there", Pino.
