JOSEPH LA RATTA Obituary
Mr. La Ratta attended South Philadelphia High School. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He graduated from Spring Garden Institute and was previously employed by Boeing, General Electric, Stone & Webster and United Engineers. Mr. La Ratta was a member of K of C Holy Child Council #3532. He was a lifetime member of the Marine Corps League in Wenonah and a Glendora Little League Coach. He was a member of the Gloucester Twp. Democrat Club and had 25 years of service on the Gloucester Twp. Zoning Board. Mr. La Ratta was also a member of Bishop Eustace Prep Fathers Club.
There will be a Viewing from 7 to 9 P.M., Monday eve, and 8:15 to 9:15 A.M., Tuesday morning, at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE, 126 S. Black Horse Pike, Runnemede, NJ 08078. Funeral Mass 10 A.M., Tuesday, at Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa's RC Church, Runnemede. Entombment St. Joseph's Mausoleum, Chews Landing. Donations may be made in Mr. La Ratta's memory to Alzheimer's Association, 3 Eves Dr., Suite 310, Marlton NJ 08053 or to Holy Child Parish, 13 E. Evesham Rd., Runnemede NJ 08078.

Dear LaRatta family,
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of Joe's life. We loved him dearly here & miss him every day. Joe had the most beautiful blue eyes and a smile that could light up the room! Although I only knew him for a short time, he touched my heart.

We're really going to miss our big brother. Joe was always there to help when needed. He filled the shoes of a big brother perfectly. Family came first, and he was a good family man. We will always remember his many stories of when he was a marine and when he was young and lived at home. They were great stories and he told them well. We'll miss you Joe.
