Joseph Rakowski Obituary
JOSEPH H., age 80, shipped out on Monday August 15, 2005 for the 'Big Marine Corps in the sky' after a gallant battle with cancer. Beloved husband of the late Anne Marie (nee Duddy) for 25 years before her death in 1974. Devoted father of James J.J. Rakowski, and Joseph J. Rakowski. He was the loving grandfather of Joseph, James, Carrie Ann, John, Joseph, and Heather Rakowski; great grandfather of Shane M. Rakowski; he is also survived by his sister Mildred (Andrew) Ashmore. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral, Friday 8:30 A.M. at THE LAMB FUNERAL HOME (at Forest Hills), 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley. Funeral Mass 10 A.M. at St. Christopher Church. The family will receive friends Thursday eve from 7 to 9 at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the US Marine Corps Museum, Quanico, VA.
