My remberance of Joe. Joe took my place at NMS Labs as Director of IT. Joe was thoughful and kind, active and helpful to those he crossed paths with in terms of helping them in their careers. We spoke on several occasions. I still think of him often.

I can remember it was 1980 and I moved in with Tommy and I could not have Charlie Cat . Had to found him a good home Because Tommy had dogs and they did not like Cat . Aunt Pat say she would take it for Joe .He was move in to the dorms at Temple. he told us that the cat would set in the bathroom and if they took to long he would moved the shower curtain to see what was take so long. And one more thing I remember some one left the balcony open the cat went out and fell to the ground I can not remember how many ft. it was but the cat was under harm. Thank you Joe for take care of him . And hope you are together again .May you both RIP.
Your Cousin always

I am so sad to hear of the passing of Joe. We lost a wonderful person here on earth. Joe was a customer of mine in the IT world and Temple Alumnus. He always had a great sense of humor and was generous with his time to help anyone in need. He often spoke about how proud he was of his son Josh and his wonderful wife, Joan and family. He will be greatly missed by all. I am grateful to have had him touch my life. Bob Bruno.

Dear Friends and Family of Joe Tait, I just learned of Joe's passing through the fund being set up in his name for Temple students. I worked with Joe at NMS Labs for many years and he was always a straight talker and had a great sense of humor. I'm very sad to learn of the news. With sorrow, Loren Barsky

Cousin Joe!
The time and patience you shared with me as a scared five year old removed from his family due to illness will always be cherished. The memory of you holding my hand and constant reminder of bravery as we walked up fifth street towards St. Henry's will never be forgotten.
I hope and pray that your guardian angel is now doing the same for you!
Rest in Peace

My Deepest Sympathies to Joan, Josh and the Tait family.
I worked with Joe for almost 3 years at Lydall and am proud to call him a friend. Joe was always quick with a laugh, a word of advice or a tidbit of experience that made you feel better or guided you on the path to correcting a problem. He was a confidant, an unwavering professional, and a dedicated husband and father that freely shared stories of his family and friends. To say that I will miss Joe and the talks we shared just doesn't do his memory justice...he has made a lasting impression on my life and will forever be in my thoughts. Sleep well my friend, you deserve the rest...

I met Joe in the past few years through our Brotherhood in Alpha Chi Rho. Joe was a Brother who felt that our Fraternity and Foundation were important in his life and because of this he donated regularly. I called him and thanked him personally a few times and every time he said it was important that AXP get stronger and he told me he was interested in helping.
He became a Trustee because of those calls. While a Trustee, Joe had many ideas and worked hard to move the Foundation forward and we did. The Foundation and The Fraternity will miss him, and his hard work. His ideas can live on and I will do my best to see that this happens.
We on the Foundation want to express our sincerest condolences to his family, friends, and all of his Fraternity Brothers who he leaves behind. We are praying for Joe and his family. He will be sorely missed by all.

Fond memories will always be with me of Joe. Temple football & tailgates, LNC (Le Neumann Center), the Masters, Joe & Joan's wedding, Red Rock, the shore at Kenny's, AXP, 'OK, Mom". It can go on and on. Thanks for those. You will be in my heart forever, Joe.
