I have many happy memories of my cousin Joe when we were kids and then in later years. When he was twelve visiting our family for the summer in Wheaton. Illinois. He played the piano then very well. Also, our families spent vacations together in Ocean City. Then later years when we grew up, and after the War and Joe out of Navy, he and his beautiful young wife showed me around all the mothball navy ship yard in Philly. A few years ago, he and Pat visited me in Emmitsburg and we toured the area, grotto, and basilica where Joe enjoyed himself in animated discussion on certain aspects of religion with on of the sisters...delightfully funny ! He was a charming lovable cousin. May Pat and Joe be enjoying their heavenly reward. They were so proud of all their children showing me photos and bringing me up to date on each.
