JOSEPH H., of Springfield, PA Age 89, died on July 24, 2013. Beloved husband of Dolores (Carr) Zaccarelli. Loving father of Joseph S. (Gail) Zaccarelli, Carol Small and Joanne (Patrick) Reilly. Also survived by 8 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren and many nieces, nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call Sunday 7-9 P.M. and Monday 9 A.M. at the WILLIAMS LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME 33 W. Baltimore Ave., Clifton Heights, PA. Funeral Mass Monday 10:30 A.M., Holy Cross Church, 651 E. Springfield Rd., Springfield, PA. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Parkinson's Disease Assoc., 332 Girard Ave. Elkins Park, PA 19027.

I can still see Mr. Zaccarelli's warm smile, always making me feel so at home in his home. I was friends with Carol and Lisa, and we would spend many hours together as young girls. I have since moved away, but can tell by pics that I've seen on fb, that his legacy will live on in his beautiful family for generations to come. God bless the Zaccarelli family.

Dear Delores: I will miss Joe, I always enjoyed our trips to Lancaster. I enjoyed his reminsicing and humor. I am sorry I will not be able to attend his viewing or Mass. I will get intouch with you when I get home, the beginning of August.

The Zaccarelli home was almost a second home growing up; I was best friends with Carol during grade school. I remember Mr. & Mrs. Z in the dining room at my parents house having dinner and coffee. Mr. Z helped so much at our father's passing. He was such a warm, loving, funny and kind person and will be greatly missed.

I remember as a little girl sitting on his knee and the laugh he would make was so contagious. The stories he would tell were so funny. We would gather around the kitchen table as most Italian families do while the aroma of good food cooked in the kitchen from My Grandmother and Aunts while stories of the past and present were told as we all sat and listed in amazement or laughter. Those were the good times!!! Uncle Joe you will be missed... Love you very much.
