JUNE WESTBROOKE (nee Bangham), on July 7, 2009, of Berwyn. Wife of the late George D. Simcoe; mother of Lynn W. Hudok of Huttonsville WV, Alison L. Simcoe of Berwyn PA, June M. Simcoe (Missie) of St. Augustine FL, Carole J. Chappelle of Elverson PA and G. David Simcoe of Cinnaminson NJ; also survived by 8 grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Service on Tuesday, July 14, at 10 A.M., Wayne Presbyterian Church, 125 E. Lancaster Ave., Wayne PA 19087. Int. Private. A Viewing will be held Sunday, July 12, 2009, from 1 to 3 P.M., at ALLEVA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1724 E. Lancaster Ave., Paoli PA 19301. Contributions in her memory may be made to American Heart Assoc., 5455 N. High St., Columbus OH 43214.

Your mother exemplied theimportance of the wise old saying thet the cost of freedom is constant vigilence. There is an important characteristic which she leaves to her posterity. May this noble lady rest in peace. May all of you be strengthened and encouraged by her example of fortitude and courage.

To Lynn,Alison, Missie,Carol and David,
As soon as I heard Alison's voice on the phone, I knew I didn't want to hear what she had to say and I was right. I hadn;t spoken to your Mom in a few months, and I could tell she was having trouble breathing,so I wasn't surprised at the call.You just never want to hear that your friend of over 50 years is gone.She loved all of you so much and those grandchildren! She was so proud of all of them. You children were so good to your Mom and Dad. They were so funny together and I hope they found each other immediately up there.You are in my thoughts and prayers and I'm sorry I can't be there. I love you all and please keep in touch,
