My deepest condolances to Karl's family. I spent my teenage years a lot of the time at the Hyk home. My exhusband , who remains my good friend , was his best friend back then and Karl was the best man at our wedding. I can't begin to tell of all the good times especially up in promised land and all the trips to the shore!! I will miss you. God rest .

My sincerest condolences to Karl's family. I met Karl way back in highschool and remained friends/acquaintances through the births of his children and mine. Life took us in different directions but my memories of Karl: the big hair, dark rimmed glasses, gentle voice, first ride on a motor cycle, willingness to lend a hand when needed have never been lost and never will. My thoughts are with all of you.

Mr. & Mrs. Hyk, Karen & Family:
Words just can't express how I feel for your loss! We all go back a very long time. Karl was like a big brother among the 4 of us. I have so many fond memories of when we were young that I will never forget. I would bet that my brother, Steve, was right there to meet Karl and welcome him home. May God bless all of you in your time of sorrow.
