Obituary
Kenneth Edward Money, 73 of Crawfordville FL, passed away at home with his family on April 28, 2023, and went to be with the Lord. He was a member of New Journey Baptist Church of Tallahassee.
Born in Donaldsonville, GA on October 14, 1949, he was the son of the late James Edward Money and Lucy Branton. Also preceding his death was his brothers Hormer Money and Jerry Money.
Ken Lived most of his life in Asford, AL. Area before moving to Tallahassee in 1976 and then moved to Havana in 1996, before his death he moved to Crawfordville, FL.
He is survived by his wife Glenda (Woodham) Money of 49 years and his children: Wendy Meadows (Ed Ryals), Misty Taylor (Brian), 5 grandchildren; Anthony Lee Moore ( Hope), Ashley Taylor, Whitney Finaldi ( Kyle), Katie Moore, Cassie Shirah (Taylor), 9 great-grand children, krystalyn Moore, Michael Moore, Chassie Moore, Anthony Moore, Kamya Otley, Abigail Earnest, Dani Moore, Hailee Moore, Flint Finaldi, soon to be Millie Kayte Shirah, three sisters Geraldine Rogers, Shirley Norton ( Roy), Pam Sullivan, one brother Freddie Money
(Marilyn). Many Nieces and Nephews he loved very much
Ken a loving and caring husband, father and Da to his grands and great grands. Ken played gospel music for 40 plus years with his dear friend Tony Kelly. Ken could play many instruments and was self taught. His favorite was the drums and steel guitar.
Ken worked as a truck driver many years for MR & R Freight, Smalley Transportation, Smith Transfer, R&L Carrier for over 20 years and the Circle S Timbers for over 10 years. Ken loved working in the trucking business.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm at Faith Funeral Home in Havana, FL Thursday May 4, 2023.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday May 5, 2023 at Faith Funeral Home in Havana Fl. with interment to follow at Nichols-Revell Cemetery in Sopchoppy, Florida.
