LAURIE (Wachtel), March 9, 2014, age 70 in Mill Valley, CA, of Parkinson's Disease. Beloved wife of Eric Stoelting for 49 years, devoted mother of Andy Stoelting (Sarah), Ricka Stoelting, grandmother to Lyla and Jacob Stoelting, sister to Nancy Shrier (Marc) , Edward Rosenthal, sister-in-law of Charlotte Rosenthal (Louis), aunt to Lee Shrier Yonish (Steve), Peter Shrier, Susan Rosenthal Hopfan (Robert), and Eddie, Rosenthal. A graduate of Cheltenham High School, U of Wisconsin and Masters Degree from U of Michigan in Social Work. A competitive master swimmer and swim instructor. A published Haiku poet. Laurie was a good friend for many years. Unfortunately, I have not been back to Mill Valley for five years and so unable to visit. Remember all the good times with swimming pool co-op, the food co-op, trading baby-sitting. I do have her book,”Light the Mountain,” as a lovely remembrance,
