LEONARD F. JR., July 7, 2013, age 70. Husband of Rachel (nee Amery); father of Christopher L. Simon (Frances); stepfather of Andrew Shields; also survived by several stepsons; grandfather of Isabella, Olivia, and Christopher "CJ" Simon, Abigail Shields; numerous step-grandchildren; brother of the late Jack Simon and Joyce Scavello; devoted dog, Hans.
Relatives and friends invited to Viewing Friday, 9 A.M. to 12 Noon, THE KOLLER FUNERAL HOME, 6835 Ridge Ave. (cor. of Livezey). Funeral Mass, 12:30 P.M., St. John the Baptist Church. Int. George Washington Mem. Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to PA-SPCA, 350 E. Erie Ave., Phila. PA 19134.

My prayers are with Rachel and Len's family. Len always made the world a brighter, happier place. His graciousness and generosity will be missed by many. I was loyal customer for 44 years, but more importantly, he was my friend. I will miss him dearly. God Bless his family and friends and may He give us all comfort in our loss.

I just found out the shocking news about Len. I'm devastated. Len was so full of life; I can't imagine him being gone. I will miss him very much; I considered him a friend not just my barber. Rachel and the rest of his family, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of a dear friend. I have been getting my hair cut by Len for 48 years (he always said I was his longest client). Not only was he a great barber but a cherished friend. My condolences to his wife and family. I will miss him greatly.
