Dear Michael, Meg, Billy, Katie and Amy,
I was so saddened and shocked to hear the news of your mother's passing. I spoke to her by phone after my dad died last summer as we were so touched to see her and members of your family at St. Thomas to remember my dad.
We were neighbors on Hardwicke Lane for a lifetime and growing up, your family was an extension of ours. Katie and Amy were like little sisters. Your mother was a kind, loving woman who had a twinkle in her eye and a great sense of humor.
We will keep you in our prayers...no doubt, she and Val are having a good reunion.
Love,
Merci Ildefonso Velgot

Dear All Hendersons:
I want you to know that throughout my childhood, Peggy Henderson (I called her Mrs. Henderson) was the nicest, most wonderful Mom on our street, my friend Billy Henderson would bring me to his house and Peggy Henderson always greeted me and my brothers, Greg & Mike with a smile, and ussually, treats, I will keep all the Hendersons in my prayers, especially, John Henderson, a great role model in my life. My thoughts are with you all in this difficult time!
God Bless You All!
