MARIE E. (nee Gregor), June 28, 2012, age 83. Beloved wife of 65 years to Joseph A.; devoted mother of Joseph A. Jr. (Marilyn), Donna (Joseph) Blee, Michael (Denise) and JoAnne (Anthony) DiGiorgio; cherished grandmother of Joey G. (Kirstin), Donnie (Nicole), Gina, Lori (Giovani), Amy (Joe), Joey Blee, Michelle, Dawn, Michael, Erica, Anthony (Marcy) and Joey Di. (Morgan); and loving great grandmother of 13.
Relatives and friends are invited to Marie's Life Celebration Monday from 6 - 9 P.M. and Tuesday from 8 - 9:15 A.M. at the JOHN F. GIVNISH OF ACADEMY RD., 10975 Academy Rd., Phila. Her Funeral Mass will be at 10 A.M. at Maternity BVM Church, 9220 Old Bustleton Ave.

To the Gugliellmucci: I want to express my sympathy for your loss. I am Cass Githens' daughter, Terrie and I just found out of your mom's passing. One of my mom's neighbor's just told my aunt. Your mom was a wonderful friend to my mom. Now they are together again.

The world is a little less bright now but our loss is Heaven's gain. I shall know that Marie is still present each time I hear someone say "same thing". Those words will forever bring a smile to my lips.

To the Guglielmucci family:
I did not have the pleasure of meeting Mrs. G in person, but have worked with her daughter, Joanne, for 3.5 years. From Joanne I have heard many great stories about her Mother and other family members. These stories are full of love, laughter and family anecdotes. If Joanne's personality is any indication of the good traits of her mother, Mrs. G must have been quite the woman! Thoughts and prayers with you.

My prayers are with Mrs. G's entire family. Memories of her will always bring a smile or a chuckle (same difference); my favorite being her phone calls from Westmoreland St. to say, "Rosie, c'mon down I'm makin' pasta fagioli", my all-time favorite dish, thanks to everyone's friend and 2nd mom!
