MARIE SHUMAN Obituary
MARIE (Falsone) 94, of Haverford, joined her beloved husband, Richard Shuman M.D., in eternal rest on Dec. 26, 2012. Loving sister-in-law of Louise Falsone, aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, and devoted friend of Rita Donahue of Narberth. Sister of the late Angeline Giambra and Anthony Falsone, and sister-in-law of the late Thomas Giambra, Lee Levine, Rae Levine, Theodore Levine and Sam Levine. Born in Buffalo, New York, June 23, 1918, to the late Mariano and Carrie (Ippolito) Falsone. Marie was an accomplished women's clothing merchandiser and retail store manager. She will be remembered for her keen mind, intense sense of independence, flair for life, and unwavering love of family and friends. In keeping with her dedication to the legacy of her late husband, donations in her memory may be made to Drexel University Richard Shuman Award for Excellence in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, c/o Drexel Univ. College of Medicine, PO Box 8235, Philadelphia, PA 19101-9685. Marie's graveside service to be held December 30 at 11:00 AM, Temple Beth El Cemetery, Chelmsford, MA.
