Beloved husband of the late Marian (nee Hood); loving father of Sandy (David) Macko; step-father of Joan Chalafoux, John Clerkin and the late Beverly Cummings; dear grandfather of Kristin Toomey and Ryan Macko; dear brother of Enes Ermilio, Carmella "Millie" Rubeo, Jerry Valentini and the late Lena Winegar. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Thursday, 9 A.M., from THE EDWARD J. PETNER FUNERAL HOME (Family Owned and Operated), 6421 Frankford Ave. at Levick St. Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 A.M, St. Timothy Church. Int Resurrection Cemetery. Viewing eve 7 P.M.

He always had a knack in cooking. I will miss his navy bean soup.I will never forget the spicey (and I mean HOT) Bloody Mary he made me at Chickies and I nearly collapsed on the floor. He will be missed.

One of my memories of Mario is sitting in Sandys kitchen waiting to go fishing.Waiting for Marios famous cornmeal bait. And it was great,us girls would outfish the boys every time. Thanks Mario
