MATTHEW LEMPA Obituary
MATTHEW S. SR., age 87, of Cherry Hill. On Jan. 18, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Elynor. Devoted father of Matthew (Cheryl) Lempa Jr. of Drexel Hill, PA, Robert (Mary Anne) Lempa of Cherry Hill, JoAnne (Terrence) O'Brien of Medford, Diane (Dennis) Wixted of Erial, Joseph (Wendy) Lempa of Sicklerville, Linda (Joseph) McLarney of Ocean City, Donna (Kevin) Conway of Cherry Hill and predeceased by Mary Elyn and Leanne. Loving grandfather of 20 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Also survived by John Lempa, Marie Szczesniak, Ann Sabina Josephine Borek, Thomas Solecki and Stanley Gerczyk and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, 11:30 A.M. at Catholic Church of St. Mary's, 2001 Springdale Rd., Cherry Hill. Viewing Saturday 9:00 - 11:00 A.M. at MURRAY-PARADEE FUNERAL HOME, 601 W. Route 70, CHERRY HILL , NJ. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations to the charity of donor's choice.

Lempa Family:
Your father was my mentor when I was still a college student and later as a graduate engineer with the Navy. He taught me so much in my early years that has stayed with me over my life. He and your mother were special people. I remember being in their company and how they always had a smile on their faces and were happy to see you. I remember how your Dad loved to drive and how he would pack everyone in the car and drive to Boston or Norfolk and I would meet him on the ship. He was always a person I admired and I tried to emulate him.
