Happy 73rd Birthday Daddy!

What would I give to clasp his hand,
His happy face to see,
To hear his voice, and see his smile
That meant so much to me.

The rolling stream of life rolls on.
But still the vacant chair
Recalls the love, the voice, the smile
Of the one who once sat there.

Nothing can ever take away
The love a heart holds dear.
Fond memories linger every day,
Remembrance keeps him near.

He had a nature you could not help loving,
And a heart that was purer than gold,
And to those who knew him and loved him
His memory will never grow cold.

More and more each day we miss him
Friends may think the wound is healed
But they little know the sorrow
Lying within our hearts concealed

You’re not forgotten, father dear
Nor ever shall you be
As long as life and memory last
I shall remember thee.

His memory is as dear today
As in the hour he passed away.

We often think of days gone by
When we were all together.
A shadow o’er our lives is cast,
Our loved one gone forever.

And have you gone, forever gone
And left us here to weep
Till we are called to follow you,
And in the grave to sleep.
Yet since you could no longer stay
To cheer us with your love,
We hope to meet you again in
The bright world above.

One precious to our hearts has gone,
The voice we loved is stilled;
The place made vacant in our home
Can never more be filled.
Our Father in His wisdom called
The one His love had given,
And so on earth the body lays -
His soul is safe in Heaven.

No one knows how much I miss you,
No one knows the bitter pain
I have suffered; since I lost you
Life has never been the same.
In my heart your memory lingers,
Sweetly tender, fond and true;
There is not a day, dear father,
That I do not think of you.

We think of him in silence,
No eyes can see us weep;
But still within our aching hearts,
His memory we keep.

Silent is the voice we loved to hear;
Too far away for sight or speech,
But not too far for thought to reach.
Sweet to remember him who once was here,
And who, though absent, is just as dear.

I Love you Daddy.....

Rest in Peace

When the clouds part and a ray of sun shines through
We look to the sky; and think of you.

You see our tears and feel our ache
We breathe you in with each breath we take

There is no need to miss, what is not gone
For you are right here, where you belong

You are the suns warmth on our face
Guiding us through this dark place

You are the whisper of the wind through the night.
That gentle sparkle in a stars light

You are the colours of the rainbow after a summers rain
Dazzling, vivid colour,s nothing could ever tame

You are the elegance found after a first snow
That small, beautiful,blinding glow

You made your own path from the start
And we continue to carry your footprints on our heart

When we stop to think of all we miss
Look around and think of this

Something so special & rare could never fade
& That is how we know you stayed

Because when the clouds part and that ray of sun shines through

We will smile, knowing that glimmer is you.

October 3, 2010

~ Mom & Dad:
You taught me how to love by the way that you loved me; You gave to me through who you were, The gift of what I am. Your pride in me is now my pride; Your faith, my caravan. Your life does not conclude with death, Nor will it end with mine, For all the lives I touch, you touch, And so on through all time. Happy Annivers...ary in Heaven! I can still close my eyes and see you dancing and singing to each other to this song....I promise that your memory will live on forever!!

Miss you more than words could ever be uttered!

Love you always,

God Took the strength of a mountain,
The majestry of a tree,
The Warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagle's flight,
Then God combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,
And so, He called it "Dad"

Happy 71st Birthday Pop!!
Love you and miss you - I hope you are enjoying your ice cream cake in Heaven...with Mommy.

A Parent's Love

No gift on earth is greater, no treasure held above, the joy that comes from knowing, a Parent's endless love.

In spite of how it's tested, it grows from year to year, providing strength and comfort, it always draws us near.

It warms and it protects us,and guides us from afar, shedding light upon us, like a bright and shinning star.

And when all things are measured, not one shall rise above, or be compared in value, to a parent's endless love!

I miss you both so much! We would really have been celebrating this milestone! Instead we celebrate all that you have taught us in our lives and pray that we can be half the Parent's that were to us!

Till we meet again,
Love always,
Patrice

Happy Fathers' Day Daddy,

I miss you more than words can say. You will forever be in my heart even though its broken. I will love you always.

April 15, 2009

You Never
You never said I'm leaving
You never said goodbye
You were gone before I knew it,
And only God knew why
A million times I needed you,
A million times I cried
If Love alone could have saved you,
You never would have died
In Life I loved you dearly
In death I love you still
In my heart you hold a place,
That no one could ever fill
It broke my heart to lose you,
But you didn't go alone
For part of me went with you,
The day God took you home.

Happy Birthday Daddy, i miss you so much, till we see each other again

Happy 71st Birthday Daddy!!

"You are my Father"

I will not look at this as a goodbye.

I will not allow the sorrow of this event to destroy me.

I will embrace what you have taught me through the years and carry that with me.

You have not died. You will forever be a part of my life, and through me you will forever be a part of my children's as well. We are your legacy.

I am proud to have had you in their lives.

I hope they inherit your charm, your good nature, and your charisma. I know with your influence they will grow to
become wonderful women.

You have raised me to the best of your ability and for that I want to thank you.

Thank you for being kind, thank you for being stronger than you know, and most of all, thank you for loving us.

You have inspired me to live life to the fullest, and never back down.

I will not be taken over by the anger and
frustration of your loss.

Instead, I will remember the days when I was young and you were my hero.

I will see you in my dreams. There you will forever be healthy and strong.

In time, I hope to embrace your freedom, freedom from the pain, and freedom from the weight of your illness.

Sorrow is inevitable, but I will face this with the same courage you did, because I am you, and you are my Father.

Always your daughter, Patrice

Daddy, It's been 2 yrs and I miss you more as each moment passes! Till we meet again.....

"Together Again ":

"A reunion occurred in heaven this week

Of the sweetest and most joyful kind

As Mom's spirit moved beyond this earth

Released from her mortal life

And what a reunion it must have been!

A joy beyond our conceiving

When Mom met Dad in heaven again

Ending years of dignified grieving

And we are certain Dad is still holding Mom's hand

While she cherishes each moment by his side

And the're experiencing the joy of being togther again

Catching up on the years they were denied

And we are confident they're also looking over us

Hoping this happiness will lessen our pain

As we contemplate the joy that they finally feel

Now that they are together again

And though we'll miss them terribly

And will long for them with deepest grief

We are reminded that love is more powerful than death

And this knowledge gives us comfort and peace

We can still feel their love surround us

Giving us a desire to continue on

To try our best to live our lives well

In the ways they would have done

For we know this isn't the only reunion

Someday we'll be called back to be with them

For life can lead us to greater happiness..."

Dad till we meet again,

Love

Dad
( Judy Burnette )

Dad...so many images come to mind
whenever I speak your name;
It seems without you in my life
things have never been the same.

What happened to those lazy days
when I was just a child;
When my life was consumed in you
in your love, and in your smile.

What happened to all those times
when I always looked to you;
No matter what happened in my life
you could make my gray skies blue.

Dad, some days I hear your voice
and turn to see your face;
Yet in my turning...it seems
the sound has been erased.

Dad, who will I turn to for answers
when life does not make sense;
Who will be there to hold me close
when the pieces just don't fit.

Oh, Dad, if I could turn back time
and once more hear your voice;
I'd tell you that out of all the dads
you would still be my choice.

Please always know I love you
and no one can take your place;
Years may come and go
but your memory will never be erased.

Today, Jesus, as You are listening
in your home above;
Would you go and find my dad
and give him all my love.

Merry Christmas in Heaven!
Love Patrice

I lost him,
I wonder if he is in better place.
He was always there for me,
Now he can’t be anymore.
There is not a day that goes by,
That I don’t think of him.
I wish I could just sit and talk,
Like all those years before.
I want to just be able to see him laugh and smile,
And have him sternly guide me to be man again.

I lost him,
I wonder if he is ok.
I just want to hear his advice,
For him to tell me to use my head and be a man.
I want to tell him all my problems,
And have him guide me through them.
I want to just hear his advice,
Just one more time.

I lost him,
I wonder what he thinks of me.
His knowledge was priceless,
And can never be taught or learned.
All the talks we had,
I will never forget.
I was so lucky to have him in my life,
And I will always feel him in my heart.
He always thought about his family first,
And he never did anything to hurt them.
He has inspired me in so many ways,
Ways that ill never forget.
He was my grandfather,
And I lost him.

Happy Father's Day, Pop!
June 15, 2008.

This Father’s Day in Heaven
So many Daddies grieve
Missing their loving children –
The ones they had to leave
Their heartfelt tears are flowing
Praising their children’s worth
And still, their pain is showing
As they look towards the earth

While resting in much comfort
Upon a billowed cloud
Each Dad prays that his children
Know how they make him proud
Each sees his child’s achievements
Each mourns the sad shortfalls
Each revels in amazement
Within God’s hallowed walls

This Father’s Day in Heaven
These angels join as one
To thank their loving children
For all the good they’ve done
When you see beams of sunlight
Streaming ‘midst skies of gray
You’ll know Daddy’s enjoying
A Divine Father’s Day

Daddy,

Its been a year without you! I really don't know how i did it. I never thought i would have to go on in this world without you. I miss you so much, some days are better than others, but i know you'd be hollering at me to stop and move on. I think about you every minute of every day. I know you are watching over me still, because i couldnt have handled this without you somehow guiding me from up in heaven. All i keep saying to myself is "I can do this, I AM A CARMOLINGO" I miss you and i Love You!

Love Dee Dee.

Pop, Happy 70th Birthday! I blew out the candles but know that my wish can never come true...I miss you beyond words...

Happy Birthday In Heaven”

If you had any faults
you kept them all from me.
Humor, love and modesty
were all that I could see.

I’m so sad to have lost you
as all who knew you are.
I know it’s only Heaven
but it seems so very far.

I hope that you can hear us,
those of us still here on Earth-
Happy Birthday to you on this Anniversary of your birth!

This day is still a special one
for it’s when your life began.
You were a hero, husband, father and grandpa-one truly terrific man.

You meant the world to me and my daugthers, and so it’s with a heavy heart I wish you a Happy Birthday in Heaven!

Dad, I miss you.

Your Spirit

I know that no matter what
You will always be with me.
When life seperated us
I know it was only your soul
Saying Goodbye to your body
But your Spirit will be with me always
When i see a bird chirping on a nearby branch
I will know it is you singing to me.
When a butterfly brushes gently by me so care freely
I will know it is you assuring me you are free of pain.
When the gently frangrance of a flower catches my attention
I will know it is you reminding me
To appreciate the simple things in life.
When the sun shining through my window awakens me
I will feel the warmth of your love.
When I hear the rain pitter patter against my window sill
I will hear your words of wisdom
And will rememeber what you taught me so well
That without rain trees cannot grow
Without rain flowers cannot bloom
Without life's challenges I cannot grow strong.
When I look out to the sea
I will think of your endless love for all of us.
When I think of mountains, their majesty and magnificence
I will think of your courage in life.
No matter where i am
You spirit will be beside me
For I know that no matter what
You will always be with me.

I Love You !

The family of Mickey & Shirley Carmolingo would like to thank
all the Family and Friends who provided support to us throughout
this difficult year!

In Memory of our Mother & Father
Michael and Shirley
4/18/38-4/21/07 6/22/38 - 5/26/07

You can only have one set of Parents
Patient kind and true;
No other friends in all the world,
Will be the same to you!
When other friends forsake you,
To your Parents you will return,
For all their loving kindness,
They ask for nothing in return.
As we look upon their picture,
Sweet memories we recall,
Of faces so full of sunshine,
And smiles for one and all.
Sweet Jesus, take this message,
To our Dear Parents up above;
Tell them how we miss them,
And give them all our love.

Until we see your faces again,
Patrice, Denise, Gina, our Families
And especially Your Loving Grandchildren

Dear Dad In Heaven

I sit here and ponder how very much

I'd like to talk with you today

There are so many things

That we didn't get to say.

I know how much you care for me

And how much I care for you,

And each time that I think of you

I know you'll miss me too.

An angel came and took you by the hand, and said

Your place was ready in Heaven, far above . . .

And you had to leave behind all those you dearly loved

You had so much to live for, you had so much to do . . .

It still seems impossible that God was taking you.

And though your life on earth is past, in Heaven it starts anew

You'll live for all eternity, just as God has promised you.

And though you've walked through Heaven's gate

We are never far apart

For every time I think of you,

You're right here, deep with-in my heart.

Remembrance is a golden chain
Death tries to break,
but all in vain.
To have, to love, and then to part
Is the greatest sorrow of one's heart.
The years may wipe out many things
But some they wipe out never.
Like memories of those happy times
When we were all together.

I will never forget your smiling face, your courage, and your unbelievable strength!

I know how hard it was for you to leave Mommy but don't worry, I will take care of her.

I watched, while you talked and played with my daughters and now wish that our Saturday's could have lasted forever!

You will always be in my heart, my soul and your memory will be my strength!

I know that you are with God and in peace. Knowing this, helps me go on. I thank GOD everyday that you did not suffer long. It's hard to let go now but I will.

Rest in Peace, Pop. I LOVE YOU!

All my Love, Patrice Marie

Daddy,

Now that your gone, I just can't imagine my life without you in it. I always ran to you for everthing and you took care of it. You were my "Hero". I promise to take care of Mommy like you did me. I miss you more than words can say and you were truly the greatest father anyone could ever have. You always did things "Your Way" till the very end. I know you are at peace now, but its going to be very hard without you. I love you with all my heart and miss you. You are gone but will never be forgotten.

Love Always
Denise

I've only met Denise's Dad on a few occasions. He was always happy and friendly - there is one thing I know for sure, Denise loved her Dad with all of her heart...he will be greatly missed.
