We had one of those "Great Loves"

Debra Schoepe-Morgan

March 4, 2017

Tomorrow March 5th would have been Mike's 64th birthday. Each day that goes by since he passed, my heart has been broken. I try to replace the sad moments with one of the great times we had, I am blessed to have had the life I had with this man who loved with all his heart. Mike was a very generous, loving man, he believed in second, third and forth chances for people, he believed in the human spirit. Those closest to him benefited from that part of his character. His grandchildren will miss their PopPop. They will miss him flying them and digging holes on the beach for them to play in all day. Mike left a mark on all of us. I am grateful for all he provided, I had a good life with my husband. I know he is in heaven, playing golf with his dad, walking his dog Donavan, and taking care of baby Tray. We feel his presence. We will live life in honor of him. Thank you my love.

There's not a cousin in the world that I could have wished for over Mike. As a fellow father and business owner, I have and always will aspire to be a glimmer of what he has become. You will always be missed Mike!!

Debbie,It has been a very difficult year for Mike and you but we all admired his strength and determination to get well. He had a very joyful spirit whenever we were in his company. He also had an engaging smile for everyone. It was very evident to all who were in the presence of the both of you how much love there was between you. Mike adored you, and made sure t hat you were happy. This year was a lifetime for you and Mike. God has added Mike to His kingdom and you will be together again. We are heartbroken to learn of Mike's passing. He is in our prayers as well as all the family. He was a great friend and devoted father husband brother son. He left his mark on all our hearts. What wonderful memories of the early times at Meadow Crest, coaching the girls in softball and attending all the tournaments. Many parties picnics golf outings flag football neighborhood trick and treating bonfires and so much more. He left to soon but his family and friends stand in testimony to his life. He'll be remembered always.

Eric and I had the pleasure of knowing Mike during the construction of our home in Coldstream Crossing. He and Eric shared many a story about the rewards and challenges of the construction industry. I know Mike loved to play golf, especially in Ireland, and lit up whenever he would speak of his travels and the interesting courses he played there. May you rest in peace, Mike, and know that the lives of others were touched and enriched by living in a community that you had the vision to bring to fruition. Your are all in our thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Eric & Sandy Miller
