SIMONINI Michael Louis, Esq. On January 8, 2024, of Toms River, NJ, formerly of Haddonfield, NJ, aged 62. Beloved husband and partner for 41 years of John E. Karustis. Devoted son of Louis and Mary (nee Nocerino) Simonini. Dear brother of Marisa Simonini-Terranova. Cherished nephew of Elizabeth Barrella, the late Joan Null, and the late Carol Simonini-Musler. Uncle of Francis C. Terranova and great uncle of Francis C. Terranova. Brother-in-law of Dr. James L. Karustis and his wife Lucinda, Kathleen M. Kochmer, and the late Francis V. Terranova. Michael is also survived by many cousins including Hank and Jinx Kochan, John and Jill Barrella, and Kristina and Jason King. He is survived in Catholic spirit by his goddaughter, Morrin A. Ryan. He will be sadly missed by his feline companion, Asta. Michael was a proud graduate of Wildwood Catholic High School, Class of 1979; St. Joseph's University, Class of 1983, and Widener Law School, Class of 1989. Family and friends are invited to the Visitation 9 A.M. to Noon, Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the CARMONA-BOLEN HOME FOR FUNERALS, 412 Main Street, Toms River, NJ, 08753, to be followed by a Memorial Service at the funeral home at noon.
