I am sorry to hear this news. We were friends a long time ago. Jim was a nickname he gave me. I saw him last year and it was great. He was always very nice to me and concerned about how I was doing. In the end I guess I wasn't much of a friend to him. I would have liked to have been, but sometimes things just happen and you never think you'll hear something like this. I won't forget him though. He never forgot me and I won't him. I just wish I had the chance to say goodbye. Perhaps crack a smile out of him like old times. But the true measure of a person is the memories they leave behind and the impression that never fades. He made a good impression.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Staub and Family
I want to extend my prayers and my sincere sympathy...Michael was a fine young man and a true gentleman. I had the privilege of working with Mike through Project Prepare and he was a pleasure to be around. Mike worked diligently each day to do his best and he never gave up. He attended tutoring to make sure that he succeeded and he met with his project counselors religiously. He was a role model and a constant source of encouragement to his fellow classmates and team members. Mike has left his mark on this earth and it is one to be quite proud of. He was truly one of the Lord's special children. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May you find strength in Mike's courage and determination.
Sincerely,
Dona Marie Fabrizio Ed.D.

My heart aches for this family.
I've lived next door to the Grandparents for 10 years, and I know how close this family is. Always their for each other, always together.
They have been through so much the past few years.
The death of "Nanny" and Michael's sickness only brought this family closer. (If that's even possible.)
It's been a pleasure living next door to Bob and Kathy Duff, and I pray for healing and comfort for them, as they mourn and remembner and heal together.
