MIRIAM DRATMAN Obituary
MIRIAM ELISE, June 3, 2011. of Phila., beloved daughter of Ralph and Cathy Dratman, dear sister of Saul Dratman. She is also survived by her grand-parents Mary (the late Mitchell) Dratman, and Melvin and Anna Kadane, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. Miriam was a graduate of the Hilltop Prepratory School in Rosemont, PA, and the Moore College of Art and Design.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Service Wednesday, June 8th, 1:00 P.M. JOSEPH LEVINE & SONS, 4737 Street Road, Trevose, Pa. Int.
private. The family is respect-fully requesting that in lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the SPCA, 340 E. Erie Ave., Phila. Pa. 19134 or Planned Parent-hood of SE PA., 1144 Locust St., Phila., Pa. 19107.

Dear Dratman Family- I was Miriam's Values Coach at New Haven . I heard the news of her passing and my heart was so heavy for your loss. I just want you to know that Miriam changed my life. I was suppose to be helping her , and in return....she ended up helping me. She taught me to love, laugh, smile, be goofy, and to enjoy life. The hours that I spent working with her at New Haven I will never forget. We had many deep talks about life and I got to know her heart and the sweet person that she was. I Don't know if you remember me, but I met you several times and your son also. I know that you loved her so much and would do anything for your children. I will be thinking of you and praying for you that you will find peace in your hearts at this hard time.......She will never be forgotten. Love always,

i really don't know what to say. i just found out about this today. miriam was such a wonderful, inspiring, creative, talented, intelligent and beautiful person. may peace be with her and all of her family and friends, and know that we will reunite with her again someday. God bless.

Dr. Dratman, one of the VPs at your workplace just informed me of Miriam's passing. My heart is so heavy for you and your family. I know how much you loved her. My sincere sympathy to the Dratman Family,
Sadly, I’ve just learned of Miriam’s passing. I knew Miriam as her teacher and friend for several years at Moore College. She was a constant source of energy and humor, working hard yet always sharing something that would make us laugh. A number of times I saw her encourage struggling students with her own special blend of joking, understanding and compassion. I will remember Miriam with much fondness.
