NANCY, of Flourtown, PA, lost her courageous battle with breast cancer and passed away peacefully on Sept. 22, 2016. She was the beloved daughter of Jack and the late Nancy (nee Herron) Bernhardt. Cherished sister of John Bernhardt (Regina), Mary Kate Morrow (Mike), and Greg Bernhardt; aunt of John Bernhardt, Grace Bernhardt, Mike Morrow and Libby Morrow. Nancy was a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School and a member of McDevitt's 1980 Philadelphia Catholic League Championship Basketball Team. She grad-uated from Villanova Uni-versity in 1984 and was named to the Philadelphia Big 5 Hall of Fame, the Villanova Athletics Hall of Fame, and her retired jersey hangs in The Pavilion. Nancy was a dedicated teacher in the School District of Philadelphia for 25 years. Friends and family are invited to a Visitation on Wednesday at 9:30 A.M., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 A.M. at St. Genevieve Church, 1225 Beth-lehem Pk., Flourtown, PA 19031. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cem. Donations in Nancy's memory may be made to Abington Health Hospice, 225 Newtown Road, Warminster, PA 18974.
