In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always. My sincere condolences to the Meehan Family, the Tonys Place Family, the 15th District and all the friends who Pat has touched. He will be in our hearts forever!
"Death is nothing at all – I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I, and you are you. Whatever we were to each other, that we still are. Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way you always used. Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without the ghost of a shadow on it. Life means all that it ever meant… There is absolutely unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am waiting for you – for an interval – somewhere near just around the corner. All is well.”
Rest in Peace Pat ~xo
Thank you for all the memories!

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. The members of our CopNET family would like to thank Officer Pat Meehan for his dedication and service to the citizens of Philadelphia. The passing of Pat will be broadcast to our 3,379 members shortly and we would like to extend our sincere condolences to his family. His absence from our ranks will be deeply missed by the remaining members of Philadelphia's Finest who were fortunate to have served with him during his police career. He will continue in our thoughts and prayers during our remaining days. "Until we meet again, may God Hold you in the palm of his hand. " . . .
Semper Fidelis.
