Peggy McManus Obituary
PEGGY ANN, 84, of Norwichtown, Ct., died Fri. of natural causes. Born in Wilmington, DE., on Sept. 10, 1922, daughter of Roxborough, PA. artist Ella Boocock Hoedt and photographer William Hoedt. Peggy graduated from Roxborough High School in 1939 and entered Business School. She married Benjamin Patton McManus on Sept. 4, 1948. Benjamin received the Distinguished Flying Cross for service in WW II and retired from the Federal Bureau of Investigation in 1975. He died in 1992 and was buried in Arlington National Cem. Peggy Ann is survived by two daughters, Gayle R. Boada of Norwich, Ct., and Ann P. Greene of Garwood, NJ and 4 grandchildren, Benjamin, Suzanne, Johathan and Emeline of Norwich. Services will be held on Wed., May 24th at the TURNER FUNERAL HOME, 225 Belmont Ave., Bala Cynwyd, Pa. Viewing 10-11 A.M. Memorial Service 11-12, Burial service to follow at Westminster Cem., 701 Belmont Ave., Bala Cynwyd, PA.
