Peter Kish Obituary

KISH
PETER J. SR., of Mt. Holly, passed away Mon., Aug. 18, 2003 at Moorestown Estates, he was 84. Mr. Kish was born in Berwick, PA. He was a retired Major in the Army where he served for 20 years. While in the Service he received 2 purple hearts and a bronze star, and he was a WWII Veteran. Peter then went to work as the Chief of storage on Fort Dix for over 30 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church, a charter member of the Lakes & Pines Military Officers Army Association, and an avid fisherman. Surviving is his wife of 51 years Alice, 2 sons and their spouses Peter J. Jr. and Lorraine Kish and Thomas J. and Anita Kish, 3 grandchildren Stephen, Edward and Emily Kish. Funeral Services will take place on Fri., Aug. 22, 2003 at 12:30 P.M. Friends may call on Fri. from 11:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. at PERINCHIEF CHAPELS, 438 High St., Mt. Holly, N.J. Int. will be at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. Contributions in his name may be made to the Burlington County Chapter American Cancer Society, 1851 Cuthbert R., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034
