Sorry to hear about Pete´s passing. Pete was a good friend even in grade school. He was always extremely kind

I just found out about Pete's passing and I was stunned. I worked with Pete at Thomson Reuters and he was one of the nicest people you could ever meet. When he talked he always talked about his wife and his children, they were his life. I thank God for allowing me to have such a friend as Pete. He will be missed.

Pete was such a sweet guy, I really enjoyed working with him and we all missed him when he had to leave work. He always had a smile, and made time for anyone who needed help. Just a genuine all around great person. He will be sorely missed.

A eulogy for a friend.

I just heard this morning about Pete Mele We worked together at a few places ( eondigital and Thomson) and I will remember Pete as a gentlemen and a truly good man. I am a bit distraught I didn't catch this earlier as I would have been at the funeral. I never had the privilege of meeting his family but heard many amazing things. I have thought of him often and we connected every so often.

I arranged his interview at Thomson and I still was there when he was diagnosed. I still see the morning he walked into my cube and started to tell me about his diagnosis and he started to cry then I did. What a true man for being so magnificently vulnerable. We talked at length and over many days about his life, family and the future. I still vividly remember asking "if he had a doctor for the disease and if he has been to see Dr. Glick and his team yet."

Pete was a class act in every regard and I am deeply saddened knowing he is not on this earth anymore. Simply put - we lost one of the good ones. Whenever I talked to Pete my world just felt better. Upbeat and always smiling. I can only hppe I gave him a fraction of what he gave me.

Pete, thank you for being my friend and for being a true mensch. I hope you will forgive me for not being as available as I should have been to you these last years. I have no excuse and its shameful. I just can't believe you are gone and its our profound loss here on earth. You will be missed and I will not forget you. You have earned your rest albeit far to soon.

Thank you Pete for making our worlds a bit better and reminding us of our perspective and what's important. This world needs more like you.

I am saddened by the loss of Pete. Catherine and Peter lived next to my Aunt on Barbara Drive and were close friends of the family. We parted ways as people often due but Facebook brought us back together and it was nice to see the great man he became. Rest in peace my friend. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
