My memory of Philip is how he and his family stayed with Sweet Pea in her final days of life at Kennedy Hospital (now Jefferson), and continued to celebrate her life by starting a nursing scholarship fund. Their love continued on, and they cared for Philip more than I have ever seen in my nursing career. I commend them for their loyalty to their parents, and I've witnessed their loyalty over and over again. May they find comfort in knowing what I myself witnessed as well as others; no parents could have wanted for more, or been more lucky than to have the children they did. Philip is now with Sweet Pea, and that is the best outcome for everyone. Philip will be dearly missed, and he is now our Angel, looking over us with Sweet Pea by his side (whom I think of often when I go to the casinos, lol) which I love like she did. Their memory will always live on, and never fade.
Their beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren will see to that. All my love to such a wonderful wonderful, heart felt loving family. Love Vicky Vega
