We are sorry to hear of Phil's passing. I met Phil in 1972, when I began working with him at Bell Labs. He was sociable, and fun to be with. I also knew Marie, and we enjoyed seeing their relationship blossom. We remember attending their wedding in 1973. He will be missed by his family and friends.
