REGINA G. "JEAN" (nee Farnan). Business women and homeaker, passed away at home in Berlin on Sept. 17, 2003, age 87 years. Mrs. Collinson and her husband Tom established the Collinson T.V. Shop in Blackwood, N.J. in 1956. The business proved to be very successful with clients throughout the Delaware Valley and beyond. As time progressed , they were able to move into the appliance trade, selling large appliances to their many customers. Born in Nov. 23, 1915 in Phila., PA. Mrs. Collinson graduated from Hallahan High School for Girls in 1932 and began working towards a nursing degree at the Chestnut Hill Hospital, from there she went to work at the Nazareth Hospital. Her daughter Regina said that her mother lost both of her parents at an early age and struggled through her adolescence. She considered her two greatest accomplishments to be her family and her ability to survive the curves thrown to her by life's journey. In addition to her daughter, she is survived by a son Thomas Jr., daughters Anne deCelis and Marie Behr, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; she is also survived by a brother Thomas and many nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives are invited to her Viewing Sat. 9 to 10:30 A.M. at The Assumption RC Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr., Atco. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. Int. Gate of Heaven Cem., Berlin, N.J. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Assumption Church Building Fund, 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr., Atco, N.J. 08004.
