Mrs. Hunt, Tara, Lis, Kimmy, and Gina. There are not enough words to describe your husband, and your father. He is the most amazing person I have ever met in my life, and will probably ever meet in my lifetime. There are so many memories, where to start? Well who could forget "GETTA GRIPPER!" I will never forget that. Oh and no boy was ever good enough for me. He was always so caring. He was a second father to me. Always worried about what I was doing with my life, and where I was going next. Always cared about my family, like we were part of his family. I can here him saying "How's the Chuck and the Deb?" He was hilarious, the jokes he had, but sometimes so serious. He really convinced me it was "buffalo tounge." I have so many great memories, and I am just thankful for those great memories. I know he will live on forever. I see so much of him in you Mrs. Hunt for being soooo strong and always caring about "Your Girls." Tara, Lis, Kimmy, and Gina sooo much of him lives on in you guys. Your attitudes, your personalities, and even sometimes the way you guys talk. He was a wonderful person and will never be forgotten! If there is anything, please don't hesitate! Love You Guys!

Rose and girls: I find myself crying then laughing when i think of the joker (Rich)with all the things we used to do as kids. And then, as we grew, as men, we did not see each other for long times apart but my whole famly back east was always in my prayers. I know my father was so so proud of Rich and the way he grew as a father to his girls and to Rose as a husbend. One thing stands out, Rich used to say if you can't take it don't dish it out. I still to this day use that. Love and miss ya all, Bobby

THAT SMILE

All who knew him would tell it's true

If you ever met Rich he'd have an effect on you!

It was THAT SMILE!

Maybe you were sad or not having a good day

He wouldn't leave you alone; he'd have something to say

And he'd give you THAT SMILE!

Long pity parties weren't part of his game,

That's not what you thought of when you mentioned his name.

But you do remember THAT SMILE!

He was a “get it done" guy always ready to go,

But would make time for you if you needed him to.

And he did it with THAT SMILE!

I'm really gonna miss you Rich and the fun we had,

The work, the laughs, the talks, the good and the bad.

But most of all I'll miss THAT SMILE!

To Rose and the girls, I'm so sorry for your loss and wish I could have been there. I'm still praying for God's peace and comfort for you. Remember if there's anything I can do just call.

God bless you all, Andrew Dixon

Let me come in where you are weeping, friend,

And let me take your hand.

I,who have known a sorrow such as yours,

Can understand.

Let me come in - I would be very still

Beside you in your grief;

I would not bid you cease your weeping, friend,

Tears bring relief.

Let me come in - I would only breathe a prayer,

And hold your hand,

For I have known a sadness such as yours,

And understand.

Rose,

Although I have not seen you for so long, we were great friends. This must be very difficult for you and your daughters. Rich was a great man and you were meant to be together. I am praying for you and may God give you the strenght to get through this.

Love,

Jeanie (Myers) McCashin

Words alone can not describe the tragic loss of our nephew Richard A. Hunt. Memories of him will always reflect his caring, loving, helping, and supporting roles in life as a Father, Relative, and Friend. His compassion plus sterness, with all whom have crossed his path on this road we call life, certainly were some of his finest qualities. Richard: shared, helped, listened, supported, and put himself out there for everyone when they needed him for whatever reason.

I mourn the loss of Richard as more than a Nephew. Uncle Tom and I will mourn and miss him as an "Angel among us" and now as our "Angel in Heaven."
