Mendez Richard Carrero Passed away October 12, 2023 at 11:34 P.M. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and uncle. He was 50 years old and left behind a wife and daughter that don't know how to live without him. He is survived by his wife Alexandra Carrero, his daughter Mia Carrero, predeceased by his father Ismael Carrero Sr., survived by his mother Maria Mendez Toro De Carrero, his sister Maria Magdalena Vargas, his brothers Jorge and Ismael Carrero, brother and sister in laws, an army of nieces and nephews, countless cousins, and close friends. He had a Masters Degree in Business and had over 67 certifications and commendations over his 22 years as Philadelphia Police Officer. Relatives, friends and members of F.O.P. Lodge 5 are invited to Rich's Life Celebration Visitation on Monday, October 23, 2023 from 5:30 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at THE JOHN F. GIVNISH LIFE CELEBRATION HOME, 10975 Academy Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154 and on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul, 1723 Race St., Philadelphia, PA 19103 with Reception of the Body, 8:00 A.M., followed by Visitation until 11:30 A.M.
